I’m Amy Finegold.

I am passionate about helping women reclaim their WOW.  To feel strong in their bodies, strong in their minds and look fabulous in their clothes!

As a busy mom, entrepreneur, political wife, unpaid uber driver… I’ve worn many hats throughout the years.  Over time I forgot who I was outside of those labels and I lost sight of what I needed for myself in order to fill that bucket that was constantly being depleted.  Today I focus on Balance.  Nutrition.  Strength.  And I celebrate who I am through personal style.

This is the story of my EVOLUTION:

I was in retail for years, working in Boston, learning from industry experts before I accomplished my dream of opening my women’s boutique, dresscode, in the suburbs.  My greatest joy was to watch women emerge from the fitting room, amazed at their own image in the mirror, feeling transformed by their outfit. I was blessed with three amazing children. After 14 years I made the difficult decision to close the store in order to find more balance in my life.  I was so stressed.  Always tired.  And missing too much with my family.  I looked at myself in the mirror and didn’t recognize who I was anymore. As much as I felt I was losing a part of my identity, letting go of something that no longer served me gave me the opportunity to begin my next chapter and discover where I was meant to be.

After years of practicing pilates, my instructor encouraged me to become certified to teach. In my mindset of Yes, I took on the challenge and discovered that I experienced the same thrill empowering women to feel strong in their bodies as I did empowering them to feel beautiful in their clothes!

My own health journey, to understand the inflammation in my body led me to become a certified Health and Life Coach which gave me so many powerful tools - how to eat for energy, to understand habits, to create a positive, powerful mindset.  I followed up with a Nutritionist certification to learn even more about the power of food as fuel. And when I was diagnosed with cancer, I used every single tool I had learned to make it through that year of treatment. 

My experiences have taught me that a strong body and a strong mind is a super-power.  And fashion continues to be my go-to when I need that boost of confidence or reminder of who I am.

This is the message I feel called to share with other women who are looking to live their best, most authentic lives, overflowing with possibility.

Nutrition and how to eat shouldn’t be complicated. I love being able to simplify the fundamentals of fueling your body, especially for women as we age and our needs change.I never want you to diet again.

I have learned first hand the power of eating to fuel and strengthen my body. I have also had to navigate the challenges of my habits around food that no longer serve me.

Eating healthy doesn’t have to be hard. And I’m here to teach you the tools to create new, lasting habits and to hold your hand throughout the process to ensure your success.

Strength &Movement

Movement isn’t about punishing hours of exercise. It is about finding daily activities that strengthen your body and boost your metabolism..

It is indisputable that for women, as we age, we need to build muscle. We also need to keep our metabolism up by moving throughout the day. Gone are the days of excessive cardio. Movement can be added in so many ways and it all counts!! Most important is to find activities that you enjoy, and to incorporate movement throughout the day. Let’s work on this together to invigorate your body and your mind!
